Omniture Announces New Versions of SiteCatalyst and Discover

Omniture released there newest version of SiteCatalyst and Discover yesterday, April 8th, and are available to all current SiteCatalyst and Discover customers. To address the changing marketing dynamics – mobile is projected to be ‘bigger’ than most people think – Omniture is releasing SiteCatalyst version 14.7 and Discover 2.9.  These two updated products “provide new analytics and optimization capabilities to make it easier and more effective for you to gain the insights needed for optimizing your online business.”

New Look for Yahoo! Sports Search

On April 1st, Yahoo! announced changes to their Sports Search and News Search; featuring a new layout, handy new filtering tools, related search suggestions and rich results that “help you find what you’re looking for quickly and seamlessly.”

How to Root Your Droid Eris

If you cannot wait any longer for the official 2.1 release, I found a step by step guide on how to root your Eris and install the leaked ROM. They claim that this ROM version has been cleaned up to correct all of the bugs they found, as well as a potential oversight that the original ROM may have had an expiration date (unconfirmed) – so if you’ve already rooted your phone, you may want to check this out.

Google Launches Ad Innovations

On March 31, Google launched Google Ad Innovations, where users will be able to review some of Google‘s latest ideas around advertising and provide their feedback.  Susan Wojcicki, Vice President of Product Management at Google, stated that as advertising evolves and marketers are looking for creative ways to communicate with users, they’ve found that the best way to do this is to “test new approaches regularly and listen closely to the feedback of the advertisers using our products.”
