Google is on the Prowl
Earlier this month, Google made the decision to ban advertisers targeting “cougars” and other ads aimed at targeting older women seeking younger men. Google, however, is taking no action against sites targeting older men seeking younger women or “sugar daddy” advertisements. “It’s a huge double standard and I think women should just be appalled, “Opdenkelder (founder of CougarLife.com) stated. “CougarLife was made for women…that are just looking for a second chance at love.”

Strong Growth in Online Advertising
According to a report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), online advertising achieved its highest Q1 revenue level ever in 2010; with revenues in the US growing to roughly $5.9 billion – represented a 7.5% increase year over year. David Silverman, PwC Assurance Partner, stated that these results are a “sign of health and vitality of online media, and of marketers’ continuing investment in interactive as a cornerstone of their advertising campaigns.” (via IAB)
How to Manually Update to Froyo
If you have a Nexus One and you are currently running ERE27, you can follow these steps to update your phone manually to Android 2.2 (Froyo). (via AndroidCentral)
Backup everything via nandroid
Download ERE27 Here
Download the nandroid version of FroYo Here
Reboot into custom recovery
Wipe all data
Flash the ERE27 update.zip file from step 2
When finished, preform a nandroid restore using the nandroid image you downloaded in step 3
Reboot
Enjoy some FroYo
