How to Manually Install Motorola Droid FRG22D Update
For those of you who still haven’t received the official Froyo OTA and cannot wait any longer, you can now manually install the update to your phone. Just follow these simple steps and you will be running Froyo in no time.
Download FRG22D HERE, save to your SD card, and rename to “update.zip”
Restart the phone in recovery mode (hold X while turning on)
When the alert icon appears, release X
Press volume up + camera button
Select “apply update.zip” and reboot when finished
Official Froyo Update for Droid Incredible
The official Froyo (Android 2.2) update for the Droid Incredible started rolling our on Friday, August 27th. Similar to other Verizon updates, it will be released in batches over time. So, if you were planning on rooting your phone to the latest Froyo ROM, you may want to wait for the OTA. Visit Verizon Wireless HERE to get the update instructions.

Google recently launched a new section (called “Movies”), which provides users with full-length movies. Most of the movies included in this new section are free, however there area a few that are available for rental. This is one of Google‘s efforts to “ensure that people can find all the different kinds of video they want to see…” They have also sorted the videos into categories ranging from action and adventure to romance and horror.
