Twitter released an update to the Twitter for Android app this week.  Some of the more notable changes include some bug fixes, OAuth integration, and fix for contact sync.  If you haven’t done so already, be sure to update / download the new Twitter app today!

Intel to Purchase McAfee

Intel to Purchase McAfee

Intel announced that it will purchase McAfee, the creators of anti-virus software, this month for ~$7.7 billion.  According to the NY Times, “Under the terms of the deal, Intel will pay $48 a share in cash, a 60 percent premium to McAfee’s Wednesday closing stock price of $29.93.”

With the acquisition of McAfee, Intel will enter into the security sector, which is expected to encounter continuous growth.  Read more from the official release below. (via Business Wire)
