Chase Mobile Banking for Android

Chase recently released a mobile banking app for Android.  Users are able to transfer funds, track activity, pay bills, deposit funds, and quick access to Chase support.  In order to use the application, users must be enrolled in Chase Online account services.  The app is free, and supports all versions of Android.

Tweetdeck for Android Update

Tweetdeck for Android Update

The Tweetdeck Android app received a huge update last week.  This update hasn’t been released to the Android Market yet, but you can download the beta on top of the Market app (no uninstall required).  Some of the more notable improvements include:  landscape mode, Twitpic support, dismissing Places notifications, Facebook Single Sign On,

Mobclix Releases Demographics of Android Users

Research firm Mobclix recently completed a study on Android users and have released some of their findings.  It’s important to note that this was conducted on a very small sample size of Android users (~1,000). (via Mobclix)

45% of Android users are first-time smartphone owners.
37% of Android users spend most of their time using email, 21% on games, and 8% on maps and navigation.
46% of Android users prefer a touchscreen over a physical keyboard.
