How to Manually Update To New Android Market
If you just can’t wait for the Android Market to automatically update on your phone over the next few weeks, follow these simple steps below to manually install the updated Market on your phone (no root required).
Download the Market App HERE
Open the file on your SD Card using a file manager
Select the file, then click OK to replace the old market app

New Android Market Released
Google released an update to the Android Market, which bring books and movie rentals as well as a ton of other changes. The new market also sports a new UI, top picks, Editor’s Choice, and Staff Pics.

HTC to Unlock Bootloaders Starting in August

How to Get the Thunderbolt Update Manually
If you haven’t received the OTA already, you can get the latest Thunderbolt (which fixes the reboot issues) by following the steps below.
Go to Menu -> Settings
Select About Phone
Choose Software Updates
