Droid Eris 2.1 ROM Leaked

For those of you who just can’t wait to get the 2.1 update on your Droid Eris, the developers at XDA Developers Forum (XDA Developers) have leaked a working ROM for 2.1.  A word of caution in using this update, rather than waiting for the OTA – it is a leaked ROM, not an official update (although the responses in the forum gives the impression that the ROM provided is the same as the upcoming OTA official update).  I have also read that there is no way to roll back the installation – and the results vary by user.  So, there is no guarantee that it will work without issues.

      @Duane Clark There still hasn’t been an official date set, but it’s being reported that the 2.1 Sprint Hero update has been delayed until May.
