Google Responds to Oracle Suit

Google has responded to the Oracle lawsuit over the use of Java in the Android operating system, stating “We are disappointed Oracle has chosen to attack both Google and the open-source Java community with this baseless lawsuit…We will strongly defend open-source standards and will continue to work with the industry to develop the Android platform.”  Oracle has no comment about this suit, however it is being speculated that they are attempting to land a “sizable” licensing fee.   (via USAToday)
