Nexus One Rooted – Again
Jun 22nd, 20101 Comment
The Nexus One has been rooted (again). This root version keeps the bootloader locked (unlocking would enable developers to flash software onto the device) – which ultimately keeps your warranty intact. This is huge for any user who was previously forced to choose between their warranty and reaping the benefits of rooting their device.
Booker-T, the hacker behind this new root, also used this method successfully on the Droid Incredible. Unfortunately the files haven’t been posted online yet, but Booker-T says he will get them up soon. Until then, you can check out the video to learn more.
