Android Reaches 200 Million Activations

While unveiling Google music at their event earlier this week, Google announced that they have activated over 200 million devices.  It’s grown over 100 million in the last 6 months!

Over 200,000 Apps in Android Market

AdroLib.com, an independent firm tracking the Android Market, recently reported that Google‘s Android Market now has over 200,000 applications.  The site is also reporting that new app submissions have continued to increase monthly, and many believe Android will continue to rapidly increase global market share next year. Twitter Completes Final Round of Funding

It’s being reported that Twitter has just completed the final round of investor funding, with sources familiar to the situation sharing that the company raised over $200 million on a $3.7 billion valuation.  Twitter later confirmed this report.  (via AllThingsD)
