New Android Market Released

New Android Market Released

Google released an update to the Android Market, which bring books and movie rentals as well as a ton of other changes.  The new market also sports a new UI, top picks, Editor’s Choice, and Staff Pics.

Skype for Android – Now with Video

Skype for Android – Now with Video

Skype recently announced that it’s updated Android application supports video calling on select devices.  The app also sports a new UI – with new menu, profile access, and much more.

The app requires Android 2.3 or higher and a front facing camera for video chat.  In addition, only the Sony Ericsson Xperia and the Google Nexus S are supported video chat devices at this time.  Additional support is expected for more devices in the future.
