Skype for Android – Now with Video
Skype recently announced that it’s updated Android application supports video calling on select devices. The app also sports a new UI – with new menu, profile access, and much more.
The app requires Android 2.3 or higher and a front facing camera for video chat. In addition, only the Sony Ericsson Xperia and the Google Nexus S are supported video chat devices at this time. Additional support is expected for more devices in the future.

Official My Verizon App for Thunderbolt Leaked
Verizon still hasn’t released a working version of the My Verizon app for the HTC Thunderbolt, however the official APK was found online by Droid Life, but their link was later removed at the request of Verizon.
This is not a hacked version from some forum – it’s the official app.

Skype with Video Chat Leaks for Thunderbolt
The HTC Thunderbolt was supposed to ship with a new and improved version of Skype that would allow users to video chat from their mobile device. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen and it left many users extremely disappointed.

Google Introduces YouTube Live
Yesterday, Google announced that it is releasing it’s YouTube Live beta (youtube.com/live). YouTube will stream concerts, interviews, and other live events and users will be able to subscribe and receive updates to partner’s streaming on YouTube Live. Google is working with only a few select partners initially, but stated their goal is to provide thousands of partners with live stream capabilities on their channels in the coming months.
