Google TV Coming to the US in 2010
Less than one week after Apple unveiled it’s latest Apple TV product, Reuters is reporting that Google TV will launch this fall in the US. The service will be free, and will provide users with full internet browsing via their television sets. Sony has agreed to begin including Google TV on its television sets, and Samsung said that it was looking into using the service. (via Reuters)
Google Responds to Apple’s Activation Claim
During last week’s keynote, Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, stated that they were activating ~230,000 iOS devices per day. Jobs also stated, “we think some of our friends are counting upgrades in their numbers.” Google responded, stating that “Android activation numbers do not include upgrades and are, in fact, only a portion of the Android devices in the market since we only include devices that have Google services.” (via CNN)
No Froyo for Droid X Early Adopters
