Everyone has been reporting upcoming changes to the Android Market – and now they’re here. Developers have received an email from Google detailing all of the changes. Google recently updated the Voice Search app for Android, giving users the option to setup personalized recognition. With the feature enabled, Voice Search remembers words that were searched for and associates them with your Google account. The goal is to improve the accuracy of voice search and enable users to search faster.

Google acquired Zetawire, which specializes in mobile payments. According to the 451 Group, Google acquired the firm quite some time ago, however the purchase went unnoticed until recently. Zetawire currently owns a patent which involves a payment system, an advertising system, and an identity management system. Sources close to the matter state that Google has a particular interest in the patent, which gives the company a competitive advantage in mobile advertising, tracking, and payments. (via Techcrunch)
Posterous recently released an official app for Android. The app, which makes blogging as easy as sending email, is extremely simple to setup and easy to use. It is only supported for a handful of devices at this time.
