Google Services Now Available from Hosting Control Panels

In 2009, Google announced a program that would enabled hosting companies to integrate Google services into their control panels for easy access to their customers.  According to Google, several hosting companies (including Go Daddy, FatCow, and Aplus) have adopted the program, and “thousands of websites have benefited from configuring services like AdSense, Custom Search and Webmaster Tools.”

Google Testing New Search Results Page

It looks like Google has changed up their layout / design of the search results pages that they’ve been testing since late 2009.  This new version appears to incorporate many of the enhanced features that Yahoo released in their updated search results pages. Google Docs Receives Much Needed Updates

On April 12th, Google announced updates to their Google Docs, made possible through a new code base that will allow them to deliver rich functionality more quickly.  In documents, they’ve added a margin ruler, improved numbering and bullets, and enhanced image placement options.  In spreadsheets, they’ve included a formula editing bar, aut0-complete for cells, drag and drop columns and many other features “not possible with older browser technologies.”  They’ve also made huge improvements to the document upload feature.  Imported files […]
