Google Voice for Android Updates
Google released an update to the Android Google Voice app, which gives users access to their Google Voice inbox and settings with new widgets. The widgets bring your “most recent voicemails and text messages to your home screen.” Users can also edit dialing preference, quickly compose messages, and edit your “Do Not Disturb” settings. Download the updated app from the Android Market today! (via Google)
iOS 4.1 Available for Download
For those who missed the initial release, Apple officially released iOS 4.1 last week. Be sure to download the update your iPod or iPhone from the iTunes store today!

Google Responds to Apple’s Activation Claim
During last week’s keynote, Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, stated that they were activating ~230,000 iOS devices per day. Jobs also stated, “we think some of our friends are counting upgrades in their numbers.” Google responded, stating that “Android activation numbers do not include upgrades and are, in fact, only a portion of the Android devices in the market since we only include devices that have Google services.” (via CNN)
