Introducing Mobile Email 4.0 by Verizon
Verizon Wireless announced an update coming to their email app, Mobile Email 4.0, earlier this month. The application allows users to connect their regular phones (non-smartphones) to Microsoft’s Exchange, push email, and leverage an integrated contact list. The service cost is roughly $5 per month and is only available to users who have a data plan of at least $15 per month.
Unfortunately, this software is only compatible with a handful of phones at this time. (via Verizon)
How to Manually Update Android Market
If you are one of the many users who still haven’t received the automatic update to the Android Market, then you have probably been searching the Web for ways to force the update. Follow these simple steps below to manually add the the market app to your phone (requires Android 2.2+).
Download the zipped update HERE.
Place the file in the root directory of your SD Card (main folder).
Reboot your phone in Recovery mode.
Select Wipe, then Wipe Dalvik-Cache.
