Adwords Billing Tab Receives Updates

Google released updates to the Adwords Billing Tab earlier this month, giving users more control over when and how much they’re charged. This upgrade will be released to all advertisers over the next coming months and requires no action from advertisers – the billing method and form of payment will remain the same.  Checkout the Adwords FAQ for more information.

Google Fully Launches Adwords for Mobile

A few weeks ago, Google released AdWords for mobile, a new mobile interface for AdWords, which provides advertisers with a quick overview of how their account is performing and allows them to easily make changes to keywords and campaigns.  AdWords for mobile is currently only available for Android, iPhone, and Palm Pre devices and only for accounts managed in the US, UK, or Australia. New Google Adwords Certification

New Google Adwords Certification

Google announced earlier this week that they’re retiring their Google Advertising Professionals (GAP) program and replacing it with a new Google AdWords Certification program. The program will provide “agencies and their employees with more up-to-date, comprehensive, strategy-focused training and certification on the latest tools and best practices for managing AdWords accounts,” stated Penry Price, VP of Global Agency Development at Google.
