HTC Will Provide Froyo Updates Before End of Year

Google Voice Opened to the Public
Historically, the only way to utilize Google Voice was to request an invite. Yesterday, Google updated the Google Voice application – opening it to the public, with no invitation required.
For users who aren’t familiar with the application, it provides an integrated voicemail player in Gmail, is also available as a mobile app, it can be used with an existing phone number, and also has the ability to transcribe your voicemails.

Nexus One Rooted – Again
The Nexus One has been rooted (again). This root version keeps the bootloader locked (unlocking would enable developers to flash software onto the device) – which ultimately keeps your warranty intact. This is huge for any user who was previously forced to choose between their warranty and reaping the benefits of rooting their device.
