Google Mobile Receives Update

Google also updated their mobile search this week, to provide a “consistent look, feel, and overall user experience” to searching with Google on your computer, stated Reza Ziaei and Mike Buchanan of the Google Mobile Engineering Team.

Google’s New Look

Google released updates to their search results earlier this week. They have added relevant navigation on the left-hand side of the page as well as made some minor changes to their logo.  The new panel “highlights the most relevant search tools and refinements” for users’ queries, stated Marissa Mayer, VP Search Products & User Experience at Google. HTC Hero ROM Update

HTC Hero ROM Update

Rumors are beginning to surface around the Web that a ROM update for the HTC Hero will be in BestBuy stores by Friday, May 7th.  The update will also be available on HTC’s Website and is reported that users can also visit a local BestBuy requesting assistance in performing the update.

Android OS on iPhone

Android OS has finally been successfully ported over to the iPhone.  I wouldn’t recommend putting this on your newest iPhone, as this version appears to be still in alpha.  They’ve setup a site to provide updates and create  to provide developers with information about their repositories.  You can read more on this here: linuxoniphone.blogspot.com
