Google Fully Launches Adwords for Mobile

A few weeks ago, Google released AdWords for mobile, a new mobile interface for AdWords, which provides advertisers with a quick overview of how their account is performing and allows them to easily make changes to keywords and campaigns.  AdWords for mobile is currently only available for Android, iPhone, and Palm Pre devices and only for accounts managed in the US, UK, or Australia. Droid Eris Release Date Update

I have contacted both Verizon and HTC regarding the 2.1 release date, as I have done several times in the past.  As I had anticipated, I received the same ‘no answer’ update from HTC.  They stated:

Due to marketing agreements with the US carriers we do not have information on if and when a update will be released. If a carrier request us publish this information you will hear first on our community and twitter broadcasts.

So they blamed the communication issues […]

Droid Placement on Google

Droid is being advertised on Google‘s homepage this week, and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Google participate in self-promotion.  One of the world’s most visited home pages displays a text ad for the new android phone, which was released in the US today.  There’s no doubt that this promotion from Google will impact the buzz being generated about the new phone.
