Rather than focusing time and energy on the extremely complicated ways to improve user experience (which is typically the case for most people), try a few of the simple ideas below.
1. Speed is a Key Component – Make it Faster
It is a well-known fact that page load time affects user abandonment; if your site takes too long to load, people will either go to another page or just leave. According to Jason Fried, “Improving speed to make something 25% faster is a much more valuable feature than a brand-new feature.”

2. Remove Stuff
Keep it simple. Review your site or application and remove steps and blockers that users have to navigate through to complete actions.
3. Think for Me
A good application will be intuitive and won’t require the user to “think” by asking all the ways they want to get something done. It should make common-sense assumptions, like providing default file names or auto-archiving.
4. Customer Satisfaction
Not only should your site or application be intuitive, solve problems, and be fast. It should also meet / satisfy the needs of your users.
5. First Impressions Matter
It’s almost impossible to get a second chance at a first impression. People form their first impressions about your website in a matter of seconds – everything from design, layout, trust, and color are evaluated. Make every effort to get it right the first time.
