Twitter Replaces Official Retweet Button

Twitter announced they are replacing the widely popular TweetMeme Retweet Button with one of their very own last week, enabling users to share links directly from the page they are on.   Twitter stated they are “working closely” with TweetMeme and that TweetMeme will also begin using the new official Twitter button.

Here is a list of some sites that have already integrated the new implementation.
