Unfortunately for Google, the deal with Groupon died on the table earlier this month. The New York Post is reporting that Google is now on the search for a Groupon-like company so that they can compete with Groupon. If Google succeeds, they will most likely expand rapidly into new markets using their global reach. (via New York Post)
