Google Maps App for iOS6 Has Not Been Prepared

Earlier this week, Eric Schmidt (former Google CEO and current chairman) confirmed to Reuters that Google has not made any plans to provide a Google Maps app for the iPhone 5 or iOS6.

Apple removed the Google Maps app from it’s latest operating systems in favor of their own proprietary application, which is causing a tremendous amount of backlash.

Earlier this week, Eric Schmidt (former Google CEO and current chairman) confirmed to Reuters that Google has not made any plans to provide a Google Maps app for the iPhone 5 or iOS6.  He stated that “We think it would have been better if they had kept ours…What were we going to do, force them not to change their mind? It’s their call.”
